I'm David
Senior developer with over 15 years of experience.
I've been building software for over fifteen years: management applications, websites, data-heavy systems and integrations between programs that were never designed to talk to each other.
I've worked freelance and on company projects, and I've learned that the best solution isn't the one with the most features, but the one people use every day without thinking about it.
With Mareaweb I bring that experience to businesses like yours: workshops, schools, holiday rentals, clinics, shops and small companies that need a website that brings in clients, to be found on Google, or to stop losing hours on tasks an app could do on its own.
The name comes from the sea in Cantabria: the tide (marea) rises and falls, but always comes back. That's how I see the work: steady, without careless rushing, and without disappearing once the project is delivered.
How I like to work
- Understand first, then buildBefore designing anything I want to know how your business works.
- Start smallA useful first version as soon as possible, then grow with what's really needed.
- Plain talkNo unnecessary jargon. If something isn't worth it, I'll tell you.
- You own everythingDomain, code, data and passwords in your name, always.
