Home automation with Home Assistant: your home or business on autopilot

One app for the heating, another for the lights, another for the solar inverter, and none of them talk to each other. With Home Assistant everything lives in a single system that runs in your home, with no subscription, and takes care of things on its own: it heats the water when there's spare sun, switches off what's been left on and tells you when something's wrong.

Tell me about your project

Is it for you?

  • Homes with solar panels that want to use their surplus instead of giving it away to the grid
  • Holiday rentals that want the heating ready before guests arrive and an eye on energy use
  • Businesses and offices that want to monitor consumption, temperatures or doors remotely
  • Anyone with devices from several brands and a different app for each one

What's included

Home Assistant installation

On a mini PC, a Raspberry Pi or hardware you already own. Everything runs locally, with no subscriptions or third-party servers.

Device integration

Zigbee, Wi-Fi, Shelly, ESPHome, thermostats, cameras, appliances and solar inverters. What you already have, in one place.

Custom automations

Lights, blinds, heating, water heater and irrigation that adapt to schedules, presence, temperature or how sunny it is.

Solar and energy use

Inverter and battery readings, production and consumption charts, and appliances that switch on by themselves with surplus power.

Alerts and dashboards

A clear dashboard on your phone or a wall tablet, and alerts by phone or Telegram for leaks, open doors or failures.

Training and support

I'll show you how to build your own automations, and I can take care of backups and updates if you prefer.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to replace my devices?

Usually not. Home Assistant integrates with thousands of brands. We look at what you have first and only add what's needed, such as a relay for the water heater or a few Zigbee sensors.

Does it work if the internet goes down?

Yes. Home Assistant runs locally, inside your home or business. Internet is only needed for remote access or external services such as weather forecasts.

Is remote access safe?

Yes, when it's done properly: encrypted access and no open ports on your router. I'll set it up and explain how it works.

Do you work outside Cantabria?

On-site installation is in Cantabria and nearby provinces. If you already run Home Assistant, automations and dashboards can be done remotely from anywhere.

Shall we talk about your case?

Tell me what you need and I'll get back to you with a first idea and next steps, no strings attached.
